Pila Vecia Artisanal Rice
Pila Vecia Rice is the product line of finest quality produced by the ancient farm rice Ferron, in the southern part of Verona, in Italy. Ferron is probably the oldest farm rice in Italy.
The archive of the Venetian region shows that application was submitted to the Venetian Republic since 1644.
This artisanal rice is very apppreciated in Italy for its nutrional value. The presence of some basic elements such as biologically pure water, sandy soils, yield control according to the quality, permits to preserve all the organoleptic and nutritional properties of the Pila Vecia rice.
Perfect for salads, fried rice balls, timballi, and of course for risotto, in particular with fish!
